I plan Yangon -Golden
Rock - Bago- Yangon day trip according to your interests by private saloon.
Tour duration may be 14 hours. Along the way,enjoy the scenic driving and see
the way of the people on the country site.As you known, Golden Rock Pagoda is famous for religion and also good for
ecotourism because it is located on the mountain and surrounded other mountains
covered with deep forest. On the
way of going back, I plan to stop and visit Bago, ancient former city and also capital of Burmar (Myanmar)
second dynasty.

1: Yangon -Golden
Rock - Bago- Yangon
Pick up your hotel after breakfast at
approx:5amand drive to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyoe
Pagoda) (approx: 4 hr drive). A small stupa is placing atop of Golden Rock in
which Buddha`s relic is embedded. It is covered with natural gold leaf, and
precariously balanced over the edge of the mountain.Firstly, we arrive Kin Pun
base camp , leave our car and use mountain going truck to get upper camp(approx. 30 minutes up a steep
and rough 11-km dirt road). Then trek to the top of the mountain (approx. 30
minutes) where the Golden Rock Pagoda
is located. You will have two hours on Golden
Rock Pagoda`s premises for your sightseeing and see amazing pagoda on the
huge single stone on the cliff. Visit Traditional shops and have Lunch at local
restaurant. Then going back to our car by the open truck again. You may have Feel
restaurant at the base camp of mountain.
On the way of going back to Yangon,
stop at Bago for sightseeing visit (appro: 2 hr drive). Bago was founded in AD-825
and was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom. BagoTour
highlight includes Shwemawdaw Pagoda ,an
ancient venerated and the highest stupa in Myanmar; Kanbawza Thadi, the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581
A.D.), is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt.
Then proceed to Yangon and may get your hotel at 0700 pm.
